Quick iMovie edit of Helena on her pony Olivia at riding event 12.09.09. Helena and Olivia came in second place after 2 runs. Very very nice.

Great video Alan,
Your daughter did well.
The depth of field looks great and the clarity was so good even 24'' full screen!
The only thing i did notice was "jerky" movement when panning, was this on the original or only on the Vimeo edit?
I think you also did an excellent job keeping the focus.

Hi Paul

Thanks a lot. Yes i am getting better and better to control the manuel focus on the 5D. It alsp help to ajust the aperature to a bigger field of sharpness. On this i used 135mm 2.0 at 2.8 - 3.5

The jerky is not here offline so maybe it has to do with Vimeo converting the 30p 5D movie to 25p but im not sure.

He he you will not regret doing so. The 5D not only makes amazing video it also produce the most beautiful pictures packed with detail and dynamic range. 21MP and low noise to. Just imagine making video at 6400ISO :-)
