On the 30th May 2013, the MWSRP team encountered this small whale shark off Maamigili, in South Ari atoll. At just 3.2m this guy is one of the smallest sharks on our records. What he lacks in size he makes up for in personality though. Seen regularly since we first met him in May, his super inquisitive nature has made him a firm favorite among the MWSRP team. Now all he needs is a name! Check out facebook.com/mwsrp to enter our naming poll! Big thanks to MWSRP volunteer, Elaine O'Reilly for her footage.
