So Father's Day is almost over, I want to once again send my shoutout to all the fathers, all of you are real life heroes. I've heard it said that being a great father is a lot like shaving, no matter how good you shaved today, you have to do it again tomorrow. BUT, the good news is that all the good things that you sow into your family will not be forgotten, and one day you will reap what you sowed over time.
Like the next love story that I'm posting. It's about a love journey of two hearts, told in the POV of a girl, Lathifah and her appreciation and love for her man Adhimas. A story of how true love conquers all things, and of what her definition of happiness is. It's a story of how every little things that you do, if you do it out of love, it will not return empty to you.
The story is told over her narrative in Indonesian language. This time, instead of putting subtitles I've decided to just summarized what she said and put it here. I hope this story will be an inspiration to you guys!
Every one of us has our own definition about what Happiness is.
Money, Family, Friends, Love, or anything.
My happiness is when I have a small family with you and our children.
The new people to whom our love will be divided for, the new purpose of living for us
My happiness is when you decided to choose me
To be the person who accompanies you for the rest of your life
And I said yes.
My happiness is when you’re always there, without any hesitance to spending more time with me, when we were a young couple.
My happiness is when we can keep in our faith and trust our love to go through the obstacles and boundaries.
When you can take the bright side of every single thing that we have been through.
My happiness is when you changed into a better person to fight for our love.
And we could reach it.
We could finish what we’ve started.
I realize, it’s the happiest day of my life, when you approached me for the first time and I replied you with a smile.
I’m so sure, the definition of happiness for me is to know you."
