Beginning in 1893, the Roman Catholic Parish of St. Agnes, located on the East Side of Midtown Manhattan, opened a Parish Elementary School.
By 1923, the Parish's High School was opened. In fact I went to that school from 1969 until 1973.
School Operations were moved to 555 West End Avenue from 156 East 44 Street in 1993.
St. Agnes Boys High School was like a Fish Out Of Water on the Upper West Side, hence why it is folding.
In this video, by evening, one sees all of the Old Sites of St. Agnes High School. It should rekindle memories.
Note:
There is something which we East 44 Street Classes Never Had & it is High Definition Video. This is in HD 1280x720p for your viewing pleasure.
