    Hi are you using any trick to get that black sky. I mean, it's shot at low light conditions and I don't see noise in your vid.

    I played with the contrast/brightness a bit, but that's it. Untouched, you actually see the grayish smoke and I prefered the fireworks without; so it probably cleaned up whatever noise was there.

    First of all, outstanding video! Could please comment as to what camcorder you used and what was the original file type. I have a Sony HDR-SR11 AVCHD Camcorder which produces .m2ts files. For the life of me I have not been able to get Quicktime to recognize these files.

    Thanks! I have the canon hg10. I've had trouble with quicktime after the unfortunate upgrade (of QT) that messed up everyone's machines. I can't seem to encode anything in QT. Have switched to mainconcepts mp4, per vimeo.com/forums/topic:3671 and Eugenia's instructions - worked really well and got the file size down to nothing. Check it out.

    How are you liking the Sony cam? I've heard great things about it.
