R3IMAGE organized a bike-in movie night at Old Stadium Park on April 16, 2013, with the support of the Associated Students of the University of Hawaii (ASUH) and the University Students of Urban & Regional Planning (USURP), in the Moili'ili neighborhood! This Bike-In theme was focused on empowering expression through voice and movement. We featured face painting, drawing, the band Applecore, and an eventful variety show with poetry, dance and comedy!
The event featured the film - Voices To Be Heard. Participants included - Play4Life with Chris Riel, Cycle Mānoa, salsa dancing with Jarryd Jullian, break dancing with David Heller, all levels yoga with Megan Adams, face painting with Alana Hong, quickdraw with Storekeeper. Raffle prizes were provided by - A Place to Eat, Bubbies, Down to Earth, Peace Cafe, Kōkua Market, Revolution Books, McCully Bicycle, and Kumu Kahua Theater. We had over 200 people in attendance and we can't wait to host the next one!
