    just two small question: was the train passing by this choppy in your original footage too? what framerate did you use?
    because the only thing that will stop me from buying this camera at the moment is the fact that i have seen so many choppy shots ...

    I'll go ahead and say that it isn't choppy. The video was edited on iMovie for starters, which is not the best app by far - it works but it doesn't interpret footage 100% accurately. Besides that, 7D supports many frame rates (including 60p) so no, your video won't look choppy at all.

    I have to agree with Daniel that something is not right about the footage's fps.

    If possible could you upload the uncompressed footage.

    the video is choppy because of the memory card. you need a class 4 (i think) or higher memory card for the video to record properly.
