Photographer Alexx Henry and his team show you how a magazine might look in the not-so-distant future with the October cover and spread for Outside Magazine. The living portrait of the triathlete Chris Lieto is photographed using the revolutionary Red One cinema camera and the 5d Mark II, for a moving magazine that looks right out of a Harry Potter movie.

Pretty nice. But what about the dramatic increase in power consumption with such disposable "living magazines". Clearly, disposable is not the way to go here!

Alexx, did you see the article on APE? aphotoeditor.com/2009/10/06/more-magazine-covers-shot-with-red-camera/

C'mon guys, you shot some video of an athlete running... that's nothing new. The only thing that's new here is the spin on what you did. When you started talking in the video, I really thought you were doing something completely innovative, but it turned out to be video, and worse than that, all the stuff you were talking about isn't even here yet, although we've been hearing plenty about it these last few years. Whopee...
