Snow Day
After work it was snowing, my son and i took the dog (Venus) for a walk.
Shot with the Xacti HD1000
Settings were 720/60fps
Set to Snow/Beach mode (cloudy) settings everything else was Auto.
Note: this video was shot with poor light, i could have messed around with the ISO but left Auto and i think it has produced a great image!

The 60fps definitely looks, in my eyes, much smoother than all the other 30fps HD videos from consumer cams. And, to me, the results from the poor lighting conditions is very good indeed!
This is very important to me as, being a dog trainer/behaviourist, I need to take primarily videos of dogs. Also, since here in Hong Kong it's very frequently hazy/smoggy, we seldom have good sunlight.
Thanks again for your most helpful video David.
This is what the camera looks like now (my Set Up):

I am going to create a Sanyo HD1000 Channel here on Vimeo, i will also post a new video with the Wide Angle lens this week!
Your WA lens looks most useful. Next thing on my shopping list!
And very much looking forward to your HD1000 channel David!
