From the comments / feedback of Eugenia and others and with the generous help of Eugenia in particular, I've made my first Vegas Movie Studio clip.

It's a shorter and 'tighter' version of a previous post: vimeo.com/679184

It wasn't easy (being new to video editing and all) but I think the final result can hold its' head high :)

I followed Eugenia's tutorials:
eugenia.gnomefiles.org/2007/09/19/crash-course-on-sony-vegas/

and

eugenia.gnomefiles.org/2007/11/09/exporting-with-vegas-for-vimeo-hd/ (I used the 2a option).

I've made the footage a little darker and added some contrast - plus added a little 'sharpness'.

Hope you think it's an improvement, since I spent quite some time on it... :)

Very creative angles take something rather mundane and make it interesting. Nicely done.

Nice one , Really interesting angles.

I really like the scene wher the blade is exactly vertical in the frame and comming toward (or away from the camera.

I love it, looks like dancer legs at times espacially at 1:40 !!

Very nice editing and PQ as well.

A suggestion would have been to match rotation speed with the music on the shots around 3:30, that it is already very close to achieve.

    Thumbs up!
