Swiftsure / Neah Bay Fly Fishing

Ran the boat offshore to Swiftsure Bank from Neah Bay to fly fish for coho salmon. The fishing was tough the first day but the second day the coho showed up in force and the fly fishing was exceptional. The salmon were boiling all over the surface eating the abundant krill in the water.

The offshore waters of Neah Bay offer some of the finest saltwater fly fishing for coho salmon anywhere. Don't let anyone tell you that you need to bucktail to catch fish out there, casting flies works better and is actually fly fishing.
