We were commissioned by Berlin-based musician Schneider TM to produce a video for his track 'Skoda Mluvit'. The audiovisual piece made its debut at the Friday Late Reflect event at the V&A Museum in London, along with six specially-commisioned still photographs taken from the video.

The video, featuring Dirk Dresselhaus of Schneider TM emerging from a dark, oily liquid lit by flickering neon tubes, was shot in collaboration with James Medcraft, using a 400-litre tank specially constructed in our studio. After much research into non-toxic viscous liquids, a combination of methyl celluslose and water was used to create an effect inspired by reflections of nocturnal urban lightscapes in liquid.

The video was featured in several publications, including Special 10, Creative Review and Frame Magazine.
