Blonde were asked to lend our expertise in social media strategy to Royal Mail’s iconic campaign as an official licensee of the 2012 Olympic Games.
Royal Mail was licensed to produce a commemorative Gold Medal Stamp for each Team GB gold medal winner at the Games. Also, for every gold medal won by Team GB, a post-box in their hometown was painted gold – a first in the history of Royal Mail.
The main social platform used by the in-house press team during the Games was the @RoyalMailNews Twitter account.
