Going down the elevator in a very, very nice hotel in Dubai. The rooms were really 3 bedroom luxury apartments and the going rate was $1000 a night. We were fortunate that it was still under construction when we stayed there since our company only had to pay $300 a night.

The growing skyline of Dubai can be seen outisde the windows. I wonder if New York City looked this way with cranes everywhere on skyscrapers in the late 1800's when they were in a boom. Anyway, I doubt I will ever stay in as nice of a hotel as that again.
