Strange that I've heard this song about 3 times this month, and never before that!

It's a great song! I love it. I heard it for the first time in the movie 'Thank you for smoking'.

Lens/Shot info? It looked great man.

Thanks man! It's my first test-video with the Canon 7D. I used my Sigma 24-70 f2.8 lens. Shot everything in 50fps.

Was just a little testproject (I'm the "actor") we couldn't figure out what to film, and I was smoking a sigaret so we thought; Hey let's film that, lol. It turned out pretty nice though.

There is any time only the camera can record? (ex. only 20 min.) Or depends on the Compact Flash?

Are you using a slow motion effect in post or shooting at 60p? Looks fantastic!

  • Raymond Schmitz 3 months ago
Thanks Nick, I shot everything in 50p, so no slow motion in post.

any color correction/grading done? it looks great btw. i'm thinking about getting the sigma 24-70mm 2.8 with the Canon 7D, any thoughts on it? pros/cons?
  • Raymond Schmitz 2 months ago
Yes, I did some color correction with Magic Bullet, but not that much, just vignetting and a little contrast.

I think the combination of the 7D and the 24-70 is great!
The Sigma is a great standard lens, especially with f2.8.

Unfortunately the 7D still has that 1.6x crop factor, which makes the 24-70mm lens, not really 24-70mm, but more like 39-112mm.
