1. My Paper Mind
"My Paper Mind" is an experimental animation exploring the "Stratastencil" technique that I've devised. Inspired by the Stratacut technique, Stratastencil is an additive process. Stratacut removes material to reveal another layer, while this technique adds another layer while still showing the layer before it. In this case, the material is paper, but I look forward to applying the concept to other mediums as well. For more information on how this particular piece was created, please visit javanivey.com/my_paper_mind.html

    Hi!

I just made a tutorial showing how to make something like what you've done in that video in After Effects. Your video served as inspiration and I thought it was only fair to warn you.

You can find the tutorial here, but it's in French, I'm planning to make it in english as well. I hope you don't mind.

I love this technique, it very evocative of fading memories, the swing felt like a distant glimpse of my childhood.

Ok am trying to make a video for my best friend that got married.
I was gone use plastercine but since i seen ur work i would love to try it out and i love working with paper(origami, and craft stuff)....
Anyway i was thinking of changing the color of the light to show different mood or emotions now i need to find a way to smoothly introduce the different colors on the frame....
Just wandering if u had any tips on my problem or if u have try that before, how did it work for u??
sorry to bother u with that but i really want to make it special, thanks.
