This is my Great-Grandfather's 1944 railroad watch. I've had it for years but only recently realized what was "under the hood." Watching the gears turn, even in real time, is very soothing to me.

This is about 2300 still frames from my Nikon D90. I used a lensbaby w/ macro for the closeups.

The detail is exceptional. At :40 one can see a small thread or two sitting on top of the gear housing. I've always been partial to Hamilton watches -

    Thank you for sharing.

What an art. It's things like this that make me sad about technological "progress". Ba humbug!

Hi, excellent work. Which intervalometer did you use?
I'm still searching for one since I replaced my D200 with the D90.

I hate it, no I love it when someone takes an idea right out of my head and creates it exactly before I can do it. Hmm, do I hate it, or do I love it? Excellent work, either way.
