Making Of video for Turi Scandurra's animated film Oranguerrilla, done by mixing traditional 2D animation done with pencil and paper, and an extensive use of digital tools and compositing in a 3D environment.
The backstage shows the work of two and a half years necessary to manage all the production steps, from the early sketches to character design and from the construction of the drawings to special effects and digital compositing.

The short film tells the story of how two kids, who to take care of an orange grove, fight an evil mechanical juicer, symbol of what was once useful to the community but is now rusty and inefficient.
The film is an allegory that suggests how the work of young citizens is a strong antidote to the corruption of a nation.
Oranguerrilla is Turi Scandurra's student film for the Master of Fine Arts in Animation and Special Effects at Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
