This trippy edit was created as one of my ongoing experiments in learning the art of capturing life in slow motion. Backwards bird flight looks cool!
The video was shot with a Canon 7D at 50fps using a prime EF 35mm f/1.4L USM Lens. It has been digitally slowed up to 250% of its realtime playback speed, thanks to Adobe After Effects Suite (and the industry-standard slo-mo "Twixtor" plugin). The post production cut and soundtrack edit was produced using Adobe Premiere.
The musical accompaniment is a delightful remix of the Lakmé Flower Duet, as released by Brian Burrows on Telos in 2010 (amazon.co.uk/Lakm%C3%A9-Flower-Duet-Remix/dp/B004H492IG/).
