In this video, artist Callum Morton speaks about the personal, emotional, historical and social impact of built spaces in relation to the artwork Ghost Train, Bulleen (2011). Callum explains his artistic processes and intent to make something familiar look unfamiliar, as a way to challenge the viewer to think about something differently and think about relationships between art and life, history and the present, and to look again at ‘the everyday’ structures we see in our environment but rarely notice. Be inspired to transform your own familiar space into a theme park.
