these photographs were taken on thursday september 24 and friday september 25 in pittsburgh, PA, during the g20 summit.

on the 24th when i was walking to the grocery store, i stumbled into the police presence that was all over the east end of pittsburgh. they were chasing protestors around and drawing looky-loos as well.

this piece is a meditation on the documentary process, the responsibility of individual photographers and artists when faced with momentous events in their own backyard.
