The film presents a journey through Monte Caprino, a gay cruising park in the heart of Rome. In exploring the sensuality of the place – the darkness of the ‘Sacred Garden’ – and confronting the hypocrisy of a public secret, it reveals the human, mythological, contradictory voices within it. Roman Postcards unfolds through the stories of people casually met in the park; in a place of illicit encounters, these become multiform confrontations with a video camera, and a woman behind it.
