During lunch time I took out the Xacti HD1000 with the Raynox HD6600 (49mm) Wide Angle lens and tested it, so far i really like the outlook and the clarity!

Shot using 720/60fps
Landscape Mode w/ Sunny Mode

I had to purchase the Sanyo Step-Up ring from 40.5mm to 49mm in order for this WideAngle lens to fit correctly.

If you get the Sanyo HD1000, shoot in 720P /6fps, it's the very best... the 1080i is okay but not as great as the 720P 60fps.....

Do you have any vignetting in 4:3 video mode or stills with the Raynox HD6600 (49mm)?

    Hi David,
Awesome video, and very good reference for those who are in search of good wide angle conversion lens. Actually, I bought the Raynox HD6600 after I saw this footage.
If you are interested, you are welcome to come and take a look at my sample on Vimeo, shot on HD1000 and with Raynox HD6600.
