The downtown Phoenix Renaissance held their Global Day of Discovery on June 19th celebrated by one hundred and fourteen Renaissance properties in 18 countries and 5 continents. The attractions included "The Challenge", an attempt by local artist Hugo Medina to paint a mural on the hotel in the alleyway between Adams and Monroe streets.
The mural displayed two hands holding the world, symbolizing both that the world is in everyone’s hands and that the Renaissance allows people to explore different cultures. Silver Screen Productions and Valley Hype was on hand to capture the amazing experience. Click here for photos.
