Sometimes "gimmicks" may be considered mere novelties, However, some seemingly trivial gimmicks of the past have evolved into useful, permanent features.
overused effects most often feel like gimmicks, but clever masking / rotoscoping and editing manpower is straight up FUN for the mass media.
More interesting is the idea of moving away from the So_Me style everyone has ripped from Ed Banger.
I like the concept... suits the Band, the label and the target audience... most of whoom were probably not born when BTTF was out.. Just watch 'A Cross the Universe' docu by Roman Gavras..
I should know i edited one to Mr.Oizo and one to Tiga.
Daft Punk are apparently doing the rounds again and recording a new album... I'm pretty sure their doing the score for the new Tron Legacy film as the trailer contains music from them.
I couldn't pick anybody better and in a way it has come full circle don't you think?
Yeah they share the same manager Busy P. Part of the whole Paris scene.
If your interested in that take a look at Colette, Ed Banger, Cool Cats, LAMJC [Michael Dupouy], Andre, Hotel Amour. They all have some very interesting stuff and linked in.
Great idea and great workmanship
Credits in movies and the way they are implemented are always an art of its own.
BTW, where do you get all the names, are they for real?
Congratulations
This is awesome.
Wanna shed any light on how you managed to get the authentic 80's film look?
What did you shoot on and what went down in post?
Respectfully Sarkey One
Well done.
Next one ? I could be your assistant ;-) (see my video on my profile)
Good work and slick.
Sick !!
and... Sick !!
Hello from France !
