    Instead of saying "Jason Fried: You're fucking wrong and full of shit", why not say "We sold Mint not because of VCs pressure but because it was the right choice for the company at the time."

    It would be more effective and you don't come off as arrogant or unnecessarily insulting.

    well, that's probably an option for someone more intelligent, reserved & polite. however, i'm usually a lot more emotional & juvenile than that. i'm not intentionally trying to be a dick, but it's also hard to be someone i'm not.
