The team at Stedfast Productions made, Across the Pond, a short film about a British dancer who moves to NYC to pursue her dreams and finds a treasure map in her Brooklyn apartment from the 1920s and goes on a treasure hunt through the strees of NY.

The film was selected as a finalist for Tropfest - the world's largest short film festival - and screened to a crowd of 25,000+ people at Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NYC on June 22nd, 2013. The festival was hosted by Liev Schreiber and judges included Malcolm Gladwell, Fisher Stevens and Lake Bell and an appearance was also made by Naomi Watts. The festival was a big hit, as was the film.
The writer/director of Across the Pond, Jessica M Thompson, had a brief Q & A with Liev Schreiber on stage, after the screening of the film.
