Every season, well known and soon-to-be-known artists are chosen to design the trend spaces. There, they present the work they created especially for Playtime in the installations that merge art and trends.
Born in 1978, Nadia Yosmayan graduated from L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2004. Ever since, she has been sharpening her vision through drawing and pottery.
With a preference for ceramics, she approaches shape as a field for transformation and metamorphosis. Her delicate earthenware sculptures combine incongruous and organic shapes that evoke both body and nature, and play with the contradiction between the seductive aspect and the enameled object.
For Playtime, Nadia has created a series of milky pieces suspended in a protective circle that conjures up childhood memories.
