New York, NY/September 29, 2009: Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced the release of Grammy-nominated and Wondaland Arts Society/Atlantic Records recording artist Janelle Monae’s song, "Come Alive (War of the Roses)", created exclusively for the Kia Soul Collective: a hand-selected group comprised of some of today’s hottest artists, thought leaders and influencers. The song, created to document the sound of “how she rolls,” is currently available for a free download at kiasoulcollective.com/home/music, along with behind-the-scenes footage of her studio session. “Come Alive (War of the Roses)" is also the first taste of new music from Monae’s epic new album set for an early 2010 release.
