A 1 minute film made for Film Riot's Monday Challenge competition: Practical FX. The film uses several in-camera practical effects, such as fake blood, dolly/ slider movement, Rack focus and reversing clips.
The film took around 4 hours to shoot. It was edited and graded in Final Cut Pro X. Most of the foley and sound effects were recorded by myself using every day objects around the house. For some elements of sound though (such as the gun shot), I used stock audio. This was from freesfx.co.uk.
Camera: Canon 650D
Lenses: 18-55mm, 50mm F1.4
Mic: Rode Videomic Pro
The music was written and recorded in a day using Logic Pro 9.
