Ctrl.Alt.Shift is a movement for a new generation fighting social and global injustice. These films were made by members of the community to raise awareness of issues they care about.

Written and Directed by: Alexandra Monro + Sheila Menon
Mentor: Jim Threapleton
Music: The Thirst

No Way Through highlights mobility restrictions imposed in the West Bank, that are limiting its habitants’ access to health care, thus violating a fundamental human right.

Another thoughtful film attempting to bridge the gap between the audience and a distant reality by placing the events in their own context. Good stuff.

one of the best UK short films of the year, in my humble opinion... the film managed to shift the exact feeling of ordinary Palestinians on Israeli checkpoints around the west Bank, reflecting that the pain is unified, and the injustices also has the same source, what ever face it has..
    A must to see...

This is an Excellent & a Smart Short Film about one of the daily struggles in Occupied Palestine. It’s beautifully executed portraying the troubles the Palestinians go through to attain their basic human right – most of the time they don’t even get that. This film is truly a clever depiction of the injustice that occurs in the West Bank. The win was Well Deserved, KUDOS :)

Brilliant work. Lovely concept, well shot and edited. Keeps up the sense of disbelief/mystery through the metaphor really well.

Just got back from two weeks shooting (video!) in east Jerusalem, so the story hits home even harder.

    Wanna see more.

When did Israeli Hospital become Palestinian Hospital? Propaganda as usual. Common Sense is thrown out the window replaced by feelings?! If you don't prioritize health by not building hospital, you don't have the right to expect free healthcare.

Outstanding work. Reminded me of when I was first shown the wall being built by the Israelis; to keep the Palestinians out. Then, it was impossible for me not to draw parallels with the rise of national socialism in Germany. This work induced the same revulsion I felt; when a rather too proud Israeli was giving me a guided tour of that awful wall and bragging about a final solution to the "Palestinian problem".

Spectacular performance, I've been hit by a car recently and I must say it has to have the worst impact on you if you can't get to the damn hospital because of soldiers. 10/10

i was a medic in the isreal army. in my base i helped and evacuate meny Palestinian in an ambulance to a isreal hospital, meny times if the injury was slightly dangerous we called out an army helicopter for quick evacuation. we helped them the same as we helped any other person, no matter what race. this is just another propaganda, only in a nice suit.
