Shot on the new Canon 7D in 60p. Conformed to 24p in Apple Cinema Tools.

I also did a very basic pass of color correction in Final Cut Pro.

Special thanks to my gorgeous wife, Alicia, for going on a walk with me.

Wow, impressive, wish it lasted longer. Some of the best stuff I've seen on a Video SLR. Great choice of music!

Can you tell us your lens choices for this? How did you manage the black and white? ( im a newbie)
  • Dorian Earle 2 months ago
Im guessing he did the black and whte in post. Very easy to do. as for the lenses. it looks like a 200mm maybe im wrong.

I shot all of this out of the box with the 18-135mm lens that came with it. I did the B/W in post.

Great! Love the first two shots. Why did you choose to keep that one shot in color? Personally, I would've preferred it b&w too.

Superb, what DSLR rig were you using. The zacuto one? For the smooth shots?

Also did the lens have a stabiliser?

All I had was a good ol' fashioned manfrotto tripod! The moving shots I did handheld.

The B&W looks good here. Your understanding to use the lens and depth of filed created a very nice series of moving images. Would be keen to see the colored version. The soundtrack created the atmosphere. :)

Your gorgeous wife Alicia. Now that's an understatement!
Love the shot coming through the willow @50s.
I know I am in the minority but the 60p is at least as big a deal as the 24p to me.
