Rainbow Rim Trail, Grand Canyon - Arizona
2 years ago
Located in the Kaibab National Forest the Rainbow Rim Trail is an approx 38 mile trail (going to go with the signs at trailheads on this one and the GPS) that links 5 view points. These viewpoints present a fine view of a drainage that goes into the Grand Canyon proper.
The trail itself isn't that interesting. A basic flattish not very technical xc trail that, for the most part, isn't near the rim. The views are actually quite limited. I'd go for a hike instead in Grand Canyon National Park next time.

Harvey Richards 2 years agoI would totally disagree about the views. The views are stunning. I have ridden this trail numerous times and I'm always blown away by the views -

2 years ago Don't get me wrong. The views are great but they are limited to just the five viewpoints. My opinion is coloured by hiking the North Kaibab trail in the park the next day. Now that was an unbelieveable experience -
