In Montreal, in the province of Quebec in Canada, the Gay Village turns into a real celebration of gay pride throughout the summer. Montreal is recognized worldwide as a city in the heart of Montreal's social recognition LGBTQ community.
Firstly, one of the main streets running through the Montreal Gay Village is closed to automobiles to become a pedestrian street. This year it will be closed to the West until the entertainment district where the other is between the Francofolies Festival, the International Jazz Festival and the Just for Laughs Festival.
Again this year hundreds of balls Roses decorate the roof of the gay village on the entire width of the St. Catherine. Terraces and restaurants have outdoor terraces and all the bars, discos and clubs naked dancers offer activities for all tastes. The Gay Pride Parade in Montreal in 2013 will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 13hr00. fiertemontrealpride.com/fierte/ Starting at the corner of René-Lévesque Boulevard West and Guy Street, the parade will travel downtown to the east and ends at the corner of the street sanguinet. Spectators will then continue walking in the direction of Émilie-Gamelin Park, which will host the MEGA T-DANCE and the closing show.
Each year more than 250,000 spectators come to applaud the floats with scantily clad men, the drag queens with their colorful costumes and all those belonging to the LGBTQ community.
