Winner of the Handheld Learning Competition in London 2011-2012
This video was part of a topic about the Anglo-Saxons called "Aethelflaed and the Anglo Saxon Trail" where students visited the famous Staffordshire Hoard at their local Potteries Museum in Hanley - Stoke on Trent using a variety of devices including PSPs, HTC phones, iPods and iPads - here they are using PSPs with a program called Second Sight. The students have created media to put on the PSPs so that when the cameras saw a specific semacode the media would be triggered and the viewers would gain extra information about the exhibit. Interestingly, even though the kids had seen the media previously - they absolutely loved using the PSPs around the Museum.
