Charles Moore explains two main ways animals are killed by plastic, as predator and prey. As predator plastic tangles around them and inhibits there movement. Plastic as prey is killing by starving, poisoning, and blocking the digestion of animals. Plastic spill at a fish farm in Hong Kong made the fish float up side down and disrupted their buoyancy.
