A short film as part of a campaign in response to a live brief set by Newcastle-based homeless charity The Cyrenians. As a group project, our challenge was to develop a campaign to attract regular, reliable volunteers and to raise their profile as a good organisation to volunteer for. Our answer to the brief was to attract people by focussing on the diverse skills and hobbies they could enjoy whilst volunteering with The Cyrenians. After deciding on a target audience of 18-28, we developed a style that was hand-rendered and alternative, with engaging typography and imagery. What You Got campaign appeals to young and creative people by attracting them in an exciting and appealing way - changing the way volunteering is perceived.
