There is any time only the camera can record? (ex. only 20 min.) Or depends on the Compact Flash?

the approximate limit is around 12 minutes of footage.

Record duration is limited to 4 GB (limit imposed by FAT file system of the CF card), which is, according to the manual, 29:59. But I don't think I will record such long chunks on 7D, it's not meant for event videography and speeches :)

nice work! I also dig the Zion I track alot. I just ordered my 7d for primarily short film work and action sports. how do you like it? what setting did you use for this particular edit?

I love it. this was the first time I really shot sports with it. I shot this at almost the standard setting, I dont have the camera in front of me right now to list it. It was all 1080p24 and the shutter was at 1/50

Really sick vid! The only thing that maybie would have made it better is if you shoot 60p, Just to get more smooth motion. I think the riders look a littlebit to "blurry" while they are doing tricks. But I really enjoyed this edit!

haha sorry for my english! Its not my first language.

Your English was fine. I shoot mainly 24p just because I like the film look from it. The only time i shoot 60p is for overcranking slow motion. It's all just personal preference I guess, I'd rather watch it a bit blurry and it look really good like it's shot on film. I'm a huge fan of the cinema
    style look.
