Hi, I also have an HD1000 and I am having the hardest time trying to edit my files. Whenever I play them on my pc they lag very bad and can't stream them properly to edit. I have tried Ulead Video Studio and it fails every time I try to convert the files. I have also tried many other programs and still not getting the quality of files that you have uploaded. I record my files using the 1920x1080 resolution. Could this be my problem? What do you recommend?

I mainly use the 720P /60fps. I too have the same issue when i record on Full HD with the Sanyo, besides, 720P 60fps looks 30times better than full HD with 60 Fields Per Second....

Just an FYI, use 720P/60FPS mode.

Hi David, does the Ulead app edit the footage in its native codec or does it need transcoding first? I have had only average joy with the 1080i mode with FCP6 on the Mac. Keep up the fine work!
