We needed to do one schizophrenic secret agent inspired action flick hommage into 60 seconds of entertainment. To advance the story, we used the regular action flick storyline approach that represents climaxing part of some imaginary movie. The main protagonist is the spy (in this case "Bib" the mascot of the festival) - we follow him on his mission where he needs to steal the secret camera and flee from an evil villain. The chase leads us in and out of the plane, action scenes in the mid-air and all the way down into a speeding convertible car where the action progresses further. The ending of the opener finishes with another twist that potentially announces villains great return.

We used digital compositing to plaster the whole thing together, using my favourite background projection techniques for certain sequences in the moving car. The other scenes were shot almost completely on Chroma key for color separation overlay. Special on set effects were used to make actors look and feel as if they were actually driving a fast car.
