The United States is one of the last conservative visual art strongholds in the world. This is the reason graphic political art is not at the forefront of the art world today. Visual artists, who should be at the peak of politically radical commentaries on government, politicians and societal issues, have all been shut out by gallerists who favor abstract and minimalist art, which is not relevant to the tastes of today's emerging collectors. Sepsis 21 is long anticipated reaction to this bacteria that entered the bloodstream of the art market 100 years ago.
This September, The Gallery Zero presents Sepsis 21, a show made up of an extraordinary group of artists from around the world who specialize in radical, controversial and political works of art. Featuring the work of Jud Turner, Taylor Blackwell, Autumn Steam, Matthew Dutton, David Malachi, Aaron Molinsky, Demecio Sierra, Stefano Cardoselli, Ron Berg, Dark Chrystal, Sam Dantone, SKAM, J Slattum, Juan Anguiano, and Nicolas Columbo.
Opening Reception on Saturday September 7th at 6pm to 10pm
Show runs September 7th to 28th
