This is in honor of the Knit-out at the Mall of America this weekend. Today they had the finals for the title of World's Fastest Knitter for the Guiness Book of World Records. We didn't get to see it and haven't found out who won, but they were certainly faster than me, even sped up like this.

Oh, at the Knit-out, we got a pair of needles that have lights in them so you can knit in the dark. Such a weird idea. We'll report later on how well they work.

    scarves
    i wear scarves ALL the time
    almost year round


    i only take them off when its over 100 degrees
    so not till june or july

    i usually wear a light jacket

    actually its pretty windy in san francisco and get chilly even during the summer



    Maybe its easier for me to say i wear them all the time cause its been cold. but come late spring, we'll see...

    Great seeing more guys knitting. I couldn't knit if my life depended on it. each row simply gets tighter and tighter. no consistency.

    I just got started. So far it's been okay. My stitches have fluctuated a little bit, but not too drastically. Sure helps boring meetings go faster.

    Once you get the hang of it, it's not bad at all.
