About Noah Sheetz: Hailing from the great state of Texas, Chef Sheetz fell in love with the Hudson Valley while enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. In April of 2004 Noah was hired as the Executive Chef to the Governor and First Family of the State of New York. As the Executive Chef at the Executive Mansion in Albany, NY, Noah plans and supervises special events, private dinners, working luncheons, and neighborhood barbecues. Noah's food philosophy is to buy fresh, local, and seasonal foods. Noah spends time networking with farms in the area to support and promote local agriculture and to increase awareness of the benefits of eating locally. His desire is to create a gateway between consumers and farmers in the Empire and Hudson Valley regions. Recently Noah has focused his attention on working with children to create healthier diets and lifestyles.
