This documentary highlights the efforts of Volunteers In Medical Missions-VIMM- in SanPedro -Sula, Honduras.
Lander University in Greenwood, SC sent a team of nursing students along with other members from around the world, on this medical mission trip to minister to the needs of the Lenca people in the mountainous area of San Pedro Sula. The area is poor in revenue and lacks the conveniences of sanitation and medical services that are so common in more developed cities. Working as a team and using the skills they have learned in the nursing program, the students are able to help the people in the five towns that we visited.
VIMM is a Christian based mission program in Seneca, SC that sends teams all over the world, giving medical aid and sharing through deed the love of Christ.
Watch as the students demonstrate and talk about their experience in helping the Lenca Indians of Honduras and enjoy the beauty of the area.
I hope you enjoy watching this documentary as much as I did making it! -Mike B.
