For a third year in a row, several hundred au pairs came to downtown Chicago’s Millennium Park on a fall Saturday afternoon to participate in the Cultural Care Au Pair Chicago Area Scavenger Hunt. Under partly sunny skies with the temperature in the 70’s, 40 plus teams of 5 au pairs each set out with questionnaire booklet in hand to get as many correct answers to 130 questions and a chance to take home a prize. Do you know what buildings are referred to as the corncobs? Do you know what ORD stands for? Do you know who were the Chicago Eight? And do you know where the structure is that Chicago’s Buckingham Fountain was model after? Our au pairs know these answers and also much more information about this great city.
