There was a time when I would have to crawl across the room in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom because my feet hurt so bad. I don't want anyone else to have to deal with that. So, before you ever experience any discomfort, take care of your feet. I learned some of these moves from physical therapy and Lawrence Biscontini. Some of the exercises presented are the towel grab. It's super simple. Just lay a towel flat on the floor and use your toes to grab it and pull it towards you and then you can push it away. Also, toe isolations are another great exercise. Press all your toes gently into the floor and only lift your big toe or only lift every toe but your big toe and repeat. You can also isolate the toes by picking up one toe at a time and placing one toe at a time down on the floor. You will probably have an easy direction and a hard one. Focus on the movement that is hard. That's usually where are feet are stiff and inflexible and need the most work. You can also use marbles to gain flexibility and relief. Place a bunch of marbles on a soft surface and just roll your feet over it. It feel wonderful. Gain toe flexibility by placing 1 marble between each toe. This does not feel so good, but helps open the toes up.
