Time-lapse film of Jupiter as seen through a telescope. Eyepiece projection method, through a Celesron 4" maksutov, 1325mm focal length, 15mm eyepiece, Nikon D90. 3 hour duration, taken at intervals of 10 minutes. Each frame is a 'stack' of 25-30 still images. Aligned and stacked manually in Photoshop. Jupiter's moon Io can also be seen as it comes in front of the planet, followed by its shadow.
