Known as the "Race to the Clouds", the 91st Pikes Peak International Hill Climb held its annual running this past June. Competitors from around the world brave "America's Mountain" while enduring an 12.42 mile uphill course containing 156 turns and an elevation change of 4,720ft.

We spent all of race day observing the hill climb from Devil's Playground (ele. 12,780ft). Here is what we observed.
