Awesome project, interesting performance. Question: what do you use to project the image+IR on the surface?

    @ Radu
The IR is at 780nm and not in the visible spectrum, so I can keep them separate. I use a regular DLP beamer for the visuals and lasers for the IR. nuigroup.com/ is a great resource for this.

Brilliant work! I've been looking into IR based multi-touch platforms for a while. Did you use flash to program the animation and gesture input? Are you using the gestures to trigger midi to the kaoss pad with Ableton?
-- just looked at your link, Processing! Great development path too.
