On Sunday 15 August 2010 at the Mardi Gras Hall of Fame induction ceremony held at Ashe Cultural Arts Center in New Orleans, the Queens of the Nation recognized Yellow Pocahontas Big Queen Gina Montana with the Queens' Choice and Rising Star Awards.

Guardians of the Flame Big Queen Cherice Harrison-Nelson introduces the presentation, and calls the Queens and Little Queens of the Nation to the stage. Past awardee Wild Magnolias Big Queen Laurita Barras Dollis carries the portrait of past awardee Yellow Jackets Big Queen Barbara Sparks, deceased. Past Queens' Choice awardees Yellow Pocahontas Second Queen Ausettua Amor Amenkum and Creole Wild West Tribal Queen Littdell S. Banister present the 2010 Queens' Choice and Rising Star awards to Yellow Pocahontas Big Queen Gina Montana.
